As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With a career spanning three decades, Ms. Palmer has established herself as an expert in clinical research. Since 2023, she has been the director of clinical operations at Pivotal Research Solutions (PRS) in Stonecrest, Georgia. Ms. Palmer manages a team of eight and collaborates with five physicians and four nurse practitioners. Her role encompasses overseeing study activities, handling budgets and contracts, engaging in business development, and networking with pharmaceutical companies.

Before accepting her current role at PRS, Ms. Palmer began working for Innovative Clinical Research in 2014, where she has been honing her expertise as a clinical research consultant. Previously, she held several other positions at PRS, dating back to 2016. She was also a clinical operations manager at Recursion in 2023. Her experience also includes being a TMF inspection readiness specialist at Sarepta Therapeutics Inc. between 2018 and 2019 and a lead clinical research associate at Ardelyx from 2017 to 2021. Ms. Palmer's professional journey has been shaped by her strong faith and belief in divine intervention. Her Jamaican roots also instilled a work ethic that views failure as not an option, while her passion for nursing was sparked by an early desire to make a difference in people's lives. This drive led her to clinical research where she could impact healthcare on a broader scale. Looking toward the future of her career, Ms. Palmer envisions stepping back from the daily responsibilities of her director role to focus on mentoring and pursuing other passions. She also harbors aspirations to pursue further academic pursuits by obtaining a doctorate.
