While teaching classes at night, he gained valuable expertise as a maintenance specialist, programmer, and process engineer with QX Corporation and as a control engineer with Eagle Tool & Design. Between 1996 and 2005, Mr. Kittok honed his knowledge of control design, process control, computer hard drive rescues, PLC programming, and HMI design and programming as a controls engineer with Sterling Automation.
Drawing on years of professional expertise, Mr. Kittok excels as the owner of Height Technology LLC, which provides its clients with top-notch system design, integration, programming, automation, and data acquisition services. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he has aligned himself with several organizations, including the Fluid Power Society. Alongside his work, Mr. Kittok has also contributed to his community through his local church, where he has served as a treasurer on the board of elders.
In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Kittok has been featured in Millennium Magazine and named a Marquis Who's Who Top Engineer. Likewise, he was named Student of the Quarter and Student of the Year at Hennepin Technical College. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in working on the 3M Utility Plant at 3M Center in Maplewood, Minnesota.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Kittok credits his success to his mentor, Greg Crawley, head instructor at Hennepin Technical College, and his wife, Kristie, a never-ending source of encouragement. He intends to seek out someone to take over his business within the coming years. Upon retiring, Mr. Kittok will travel more with his wife.
