Prior to her current position, she served as chief deputy clerk of the Superior Court in 2022 and deputy court clerk supervisor at the Superior Court Clerk's Office earlier that same year. Her tenure at the District Attorney's Office also included roles as a courtroom legal assistant and an intake legal assistant. From 2019 to 2021, she was a senior legal assistant at the Solicitor General's Office, where she also worked as a legal assistant and accusation specialist, beginning in 2014. Ms. Clemons previously earned distinction as a legal secretary at the Solicitor General's Office, a dispossessory deputy court clerk at the Magistrate Court Clerk's Office, a criminal deputy court clerk at the State Court Clerk's Office, a civil deputy court clerk, and a traffic deputy court clerk, starting in 2006.

One of Ms. Clemons's most significant milestones was her initiative to improve the lives of her employees by enhancing their work environment and creating opportunities for growth.
