He also served as the global director for the Cameron & M-I SWACO equipment divisions at Schlumberger between 2020 and 2022, was the vice president of sales in 2020, and was part of the corporate strategy team from 2019 to 2020. Mr. Hartwig started at Cameron, A Schlumberger Company, in 2013 as the director of operations in drilling systems. He was physically located in Houston, TX as well as the Middle East, living in Dubai and then Abu Dhabi.

Among other noteworthy professional opportunities, Mr. Hartwig was a generalist consultant on a partner track at McKinsey & Company from 2008 to 2013, beginning as an associate, then senior associate, and finally as an Sr. engagement manager, where he led various teams and worked with senior executives on operations and strategic decisions. His early career started at ExxonMobil, where he rose from an industrial sales engineer in 1999 to a lubrication engineer in 2002 while concurrently obtaining an MBA. Then moved to ExxonMobil corporate HQ as a strategic pricing advisor in 2005, and global sales advisor between 2007 and 2008.

In addition to his primary professional pursuits, Mr. Hartwig serves on the board of Pure Energy Minerals, an up-and-coming publicly listed company specializing in sustainably produced lithium. He is actively involved in international initiatives that contribute to his global perspective. Mr. Hartwig's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1999 and a Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University in 2004.
