Leveraging her former success, Ms. Caccavo was the vice president and associate general counsel at AQR Capital Management from 2011 to 2020. This tenure was preceded by her role as an associate at Sidley Austin between 2008 and 2011, after initially joining the firm as a summer associate in 2007. Additionally, Ms. Caccavo gained early legal experience as a summer associate at Kean Miller in 2006 and as a law clerk for Harley Brown, Attorney at Law, from 2000 to 2006.
In addition to her primary roles within Caccavo Consulting LLC, Ms. Caccavo has contributed significantly to various ventures and projects. She co-founded Koobrik Law in 2024 as the chief product officer. She has provided legal consultancy services through Ontra since 2021 and has held positions as an outsourced general counsel for various asset managers, such as Oracle Alpha (fka Delphia), Taika Capital, and Windstream Partners since 2021. Among other ventures, Ms. Caccavo founded The Best Wash in Town and Whimsical Alley in 2019 and has been an owner and real estate developer for The Reserve Zachary since 2017.
Ms. Caccavo's prepared for her career by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts at Louisiana State University in 2005 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at Southern University Law Center, magna cum laude, in 2008, graduating Valedictorian of her class. During her law studies, she was an editor for the university's Law Review. Ms. Caccavo also contributed legal literature in 2007 with the publication of 'Louisiana Revised Statutes 23:967: The Questionable Interpretation of Louisiana's Whistleblower Statute and a Solution for the Courts.' She has been admitted to practice by the New York Bar Association and remains active in Phi Alpha Delta, a professional law fraternity that emphasizes service to the student, the school, the profession, and the community.
