Before establishing her business, Shaherah provided patient-centered and subject-matter expertise to various MedTech and biopharma organizations and manufacturers as the senior director of life sciences and clinical lifecycle management at FTI Consulting. Within six months of joining the company, she generated more than $1 million in new business.

During the early stages of her career, Shaherah gained valuable expertise in the field through clinical research, regulatory, and management roles with University of Tennessee Health Science Center and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. After a decade, she transitioned into the medical device space holding various leadership roles with Medtronic, Stryker Corporation, and Smith & Nephew. Shaherah fostered analytical thinking, leadership, and communicative skills through each role that led to her success.

Shaherah's educational resume is equally impressive. She boasts a Bachelor of Business Administration in organizational leadership from the University of Memphis and an MBA from Bethel University's College of Professional Studies. Subsequently, she expanded her professional knowledge, earning a Master of Science in biotechnology from the prestigious Morehouse School of Medicine, a project management professional certification through the Project Management Institute, and a clinical researcher certification from the Association of Clinical Research Professionals.

As a testament to her leadership and expertise, Shaherah serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Nashville Chapter of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Her role in this esteemed position further solidifies her commitment to advancing the field of clinical research. Additionally, she is a member of, Women in Bio, the Women Business Leaders of the U.S. Health Care Industry Foundation, Association of Clinical and Translational Science, Medical Device Manufacturers Association, , and the Project Management Institute, and MedTech Color which supports individuals of color in the medical device industry. Shaherah is dedicated to her community as an active member of Jack and Jill of America.

While her career has been filled with highlights, Shaherah takes the most pride in launching various medical device products and pharmaceuticals into global markets, particularly her work in Europe. Although hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she attributes her success to her first mentor who introduced her to clinical research.
