Scott Sell Inducted into the Prestigious Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry

From sports medicine to post-acute care medicine, Scott Sell has demonstrated versatility in the health care sector



After earning his degrees, he honed his expertise over nearly a decade in collegiate sports before transitioning into health care development, where he is flourishing in a post-acute care environment.

Mr. Sell brings to the table a robust background in sports medicine, which he has since leveraged in both hospital and acute-care spaces. He holds a Bachelor of Science in athletic training from the University of Indianapolis, which he earned in 2010, and a master's degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), which he earned in 2012. After earning his degrees, he honed his expertise over nearly a decade in collegiate sports before transitioning into health care development, where he is flourishing in a post-acute care environment.

Currently, Mr. Sell serves as the director of business development at Williams Bros. Health Care Pharmacy, a position he recently stepped into in 2024. In his newfound role, he oversees a dynamic team responsible for marketing, advertising, sales, patient experience, and the creation of new and additional services. Furthermore, Mr. Sell has used his expertise to facilitate holistic growth for the company through strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

Since joining William Bros. Health Care Pharmacy several years ago, Mr. Sell has helped the company's gross revenue grow over 20% in that span. His penchant for growth is not restricted to the post-acute care arena, additionally he orchestrated a 50% revenue growth for the sports medicine department at his previous job. Prior to taking on his directorial position at the company, Mr. Sell started as a manager in 2020, a position he continues to concurrently hold.

Prior to making an impact at William Bros. Health Care Pharmacy, Mr. Sell served as the director of strategic development at Daviess Community Hospital from 2019 to 2020 and previously held the position of director of athletic training and outreach services at Daviess Community Hospital from 2015 to 2020. Mr. Sell's tenure leveraging his skills in the hospital environment also includes time at Bronson Healthcare as an athletic trainer II from 2015 to 2016.

Before working in hospital-based care, Mr. Sell was an assistant athletic trainer at Kalamazoo College from 2014 to 2015, which further solidified his foundation in sports medicine. Additionally, he spent time as an assistant athletic trainer at Athletico from 2012 to 2014 and began his career as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at IUPUI. In recognition of his professional excellence, Mr. Sell has received several accolades, including the President's Excellence Award from the Indiana Athletic Trainers' Association in 2023 and the Young Professional of the Year Award from the National Athletic Trainers' Association in 2020.

Moreover, Mr. Sell's early commitment to leadership was evident when he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America in 2005. Beyond exhibiting leadership in his professional endeavors, he showcases his ability to lead through his involvement in local and national organizations. As an involved father of three, he is a past-member of the school board and actively participates in the local Catholic parish.

Furthermore, Mr. Sell's leadership is exemplified in his role as President of Recovering Individual Supporting Everyone, as the recent president-elect for the Rotary Club of Washington, and as a board member for Indiana's Daviess County Economic Development Corporation, where he serves as the Quality of Life Chair. He has been active across the athletic training professional associations serving on a variety of state, regional, and national committees. Most recently as the Co-Chair of the Great Lakes Athletic Training Association Advocacy Committee and the Indiana Athletic Trainers Association Development Chair. Across his personal, civic, and professional life, he exhibits versatility, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence, mirroring the values instilled in him by his grandfathers, father, and father-in-law throughout his life.
