As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

With a robust background in nursing and education, Dr. Fabry joined Grand Canyon University as an adjunct professor in 2021 and became a full-time associate professor in June 2023. She has been instrumental in teaching remotely at multiple institutions, overseeing a project class, engaging in doctoral learning, and leading courses. She also manages meetings with instructors and oversees learner reentry and the learner success program while providing valuable feedback on student output. Additionally, at the SyncSim Virtual Simulation Center since 2023, Dr. Fabry has contributed as a content creator, fine-tuned products to enhance their efficacy, attended meetings focused on customer acquisition, and more.

Dr. Fabry's diverse nursing background began with serving an underrepresented community in a maximum-security prison and evolved through roles that allowed her to pursue passions for wound care and education. She was a registered nurse at Columbia Correctional Institution from 2004 to 2008. She then progressed to Middleton Village Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center as a registered nurse and unit manager until 2012. Her leadership skills were further honed as the director of Med Surg/ICU at the Reedsburg Area Medical Center between 2013 and 2021. While at the medical center, Dr. Fabry initiated a wound clinic and took charge of outpatient infusions, social services, and nursing case management. Her passion for education led her to serve as an adjunct faculty instructor at Madison Area Technical College in 2020 and subsequently as faculty clinical coordinator at Herzing University until 2023.

Dr. Fabry's educational foundation has been integral to her professional success. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Madison Area Technical College in 2004 and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Viterbo University in 2012. She continued to advance her expertise with a master's degree in nursing education from Grand Canyon University in 2016 before achieving a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the same institution in 2020. Dr. Fabry's credentials include diabetic wound care certification and wound care certification from the National Alliance of Wound Care & Ostomy®, among others from the American Heart Association.

Besides her education, Dr. Fabry's commitment to her profession is further exemplified by her membership in industry-related organizations such as the Society of Healthcare and Simulations. The pinnacle of her achievements was marked by her first publication in the American Journal of Nursing in 2023. This accomplishment was so meaningful that Dr. Fabry framed the publication on her wall as a testament to the value of her work within the nursing community.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Fabry and her husband are active in their community. They host an annual event called the Fabry Fear Fair. This year is their ninth year of hosting the haunted carnival at their house, which includes a haunted house, a concession stand, and up to 25 carnival games.

Dr. Fabry has been recognized for her contributions with several awards, including the Faculty Endurance Award from Grand Canyon University in 2023, a Rookie Chair of the Year award from Dr. Fetter at Grand Canyon University in 2022, an Innovation Teaching Award from Herzing University also in 2022, and Employee of the Month accolades from Middleton Village Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. The DAISY Foundation also nominated her for a DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nursing Faculty in 2023.

Looking forward to future success, Dr. Fabry plans to become a certified nursing educator and elevate her academic rank. She is also dedicated to advancing SyncSim's mission to foster critical thinking and clinical judgment among nursing students. Moreover, Dr. Fabry aims to contribute additional scholarly work to benefit the broader nursing field.
