Mr. Robinson's career trajectory includes significant positions with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS), where he managed projects for high-profile clients such as Ford Motor Company, Kellogg Company, and Johnson Controls from 2018 to 2024. He had the privilege of managing over $10 million in construction projects at the World Headquarters for both Ford and Kellogg's. His tenure at Ideal Contracting between 2016 and 2018 involved working closely with General Motors. He most notably managed over $25 million in construction projects at the Milford Proving Grounds. In 2014, Mr. Robinson was recruited to start a construction division for a small minority-owned U.S. government contractor located in Warren, MI. He hired and managed a construction team that completed over $30 million in construction contracts from 2014 to 2016. He received U.S. government contracts with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Veterans Affairs (V.A.), Air National Guard, and Department of Defense. Earlier in his career, from 2012 to 2014, Mr. Robinson played a significant role in the $100 million Detroit Medical Center Heart Hospital project. This project was a crowning achievement during his tenure at Jenkins Construction. The project resulted in the largest hospital built in Detroit in two decades, serving as a crucial cardiovascular resource for the community.

Beyond his primary professional endeavors, Mr. Robinson has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Lansing Community College since 2024. Mr. Robinson also holds a residential builders' license through the Michigan Licensing and Regulatory Affairs in the State of Michigan, completed the construction quality management course through the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, received credentials as a LEED green associate through the Green Business Certification Inc., and received several safety and quality management certifications including the OSHA 30-Hour certification.

Besides his educational credentials, Mr. Robinson's membership in industry-related organizations such as the Real Estate Association of Developers, ForbesBLK, and the Michigan Minority Contractors Association has underscored his commitment to professional growth and community development. He has also been active locally in his community as a youth football coach since 2012. Before coaching, he spent two seasons playing semi-professional football during the 2009 and 2010 seasons in the Mid-Continental Football League (MCFL). His success and dedication on the football field allowed him to play in the 2010 MCFL Championship Game for the runner-up Detroit Seminoles. Overall, his contributions to the sport and his community are a testament to his character and dedication.
