Before this role, Ms. Kirtland was the Global Transformation Lead for IBM Consulting's Talent Transformation Service Line between 2021 and 2023, utilizing her extensive expertise and experience to successfully drive significant internal changes and exceed key transformation objectives. From 2020 to 2021, she excelled as a Managing Consultant in the Commercial Cross-Sector, after serving as a Senior Consultant in the same division between 2019 and 2020. Ms. Kirtland's expertise was also vital to the Federal and Public Sectors as a Senior Consultant at the technology company from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, she has contributed her personal career insights over the years, as a writer and thought leader for Each is Every (formerly Babes Who Hustle) between 2016 and 2023.
During her time at The George Washington University School of Business (GWSB), Ms. Kirtland had the opportunity to serve as a Graduate Advisor at BDO USA LLP in 2016 and a Graduate Assistant for four separate courses in the school of business from 2016 to 2017. Before earning her MBA at GWSB, Ms. Kirtland excelled in various roles at Walt Disney World between 2012 and 2014, where she discovered her passion for people development and policy enhancement, and at Atlass Insurance Group as an Account Services Representative between 2014 and 2015.
Ms. Kirtland's academic background includes a diploma, magna cum laude, from the International Baccalaureate program in 2008; a Bachelor of Science in Management and Bachelor of Science in Marketing, both magna cum laude, from Florida State University in 2012; as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics from The George Washington University School of Business in 2017. Personally, she also garnered credentials as a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer in 2024 and Black Belt in Sansei Goju Ryu Karate in 2007 (in which she was a nationally ranked competitor and coach from 2004-2007).
As part of her community, Ms. Kirtland has been actively mentoring alums through The George Washington University School of Business's community of practice for consulting since 2018.
