Previously, he served as Director of criminal defense immigration in a project for the New York State Defenders Association, through which he advised defense attorneys regarding immigration law and the consequences of criminal convictions to non-citizens. Before that, Dr. Alexandre worked as an assistant public defender for the Monroe County Public Defenders office in Rochester, NY, serving as the immigration consultant for the office.
An expert in his field, Dr. Alexandre earned a JD from Indiana University Bloomington after completing his undergraduate degree. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Similarly, Dr. Alexandre dedicates himself to China Aid, a Christian nonprofit human rights organization that fights for religious freedom in China and worldwide. He takes great pride in the firm's human rights and asylum work and having that work recognized by the nongovernmental organization China Aid and its founder, Mr. Bob Fu. Dr. Alexandre's firm was also selected to serve as a national panelist for the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Dr. Alexandre credits his success to the guidance and assistance of his mentors and supporters, including his wife, Glenia Alexandre, who is a constant source of encouragement and the COO of Alexandre Law Firm.
