Prior to her current endeavors, Ms. Wright began her career in the financial sector. She and her husband, Rex, founded Wright Financial in 1995 and has continued to lead the company with distinction. At the start of her professional journey, she gained experience working at MetLife, as an insurance agent, selling mutual funds, life, health, home and auto insurance from 1984 to 1995. She was in the top 1% for volume in mutual fund sales for State Street Securities and was a recipient of the Million Dollar Round Table Award. Such an experience working in insurance proved foundational and laid the groundwork for her co-founding Wright Financial, an insurance brokerage and a mortgage brokerage. Ultimately, Ms. Wright's expansion into mortgages was just another step towards finding her true calling in real estate-a field where she has not only found success but also fulfillment.
Ms. Wright's expertise in residential real estate is well-recognized, and her success in the field is a testament to her dedication and skill. Susan has sold over 810 homes and businesses with over $145 million in sales. To date, she has been recognized for her excellence with accolades that include recognition as a Five Star Professional as well as numerous awards such as Double Platinum, Platinum, Gold and Silver Awards for sales production and volume of units sold. Alongside her professional experience, Ms. Wright attended The University of Missouri, Columbia from 1978-1980 where she studied Business, then got an Associate degree in International Biblical Studies.
In conjunction with her professional pursuits, Ms. Wright is also involved with her community. She is an active member of the local real estate board, the local chamber of commerce and supports local schools and sports teams. In all she has achieved, Ms. Wright attributes her success to God's divine guidance and the belief that when one door closes, another one opens. Ms. Wright is deeply connected to her church, Grace Life Chapel (Formerly Victory Church) where she has been a member for 40 years. Her personal life is rich with family as she has been married to her husband Rex for 41 years and is a proud mother to four children, Valerie, Victoria, Rex II, and Ryan, and two grandchildren, Riley and Abram. She finds such joy in spending time with them.
In all she pursues, Ms. Wright is guided by an openness to God's plan for her life and remains steadfast in her desire to make a positive impact on those around her. In line with her creative endeavors, she has recently written a children's book inspired by her daughter's journey of having a child of her own and God's miracles-a work she hopes to publish soon. Looking forward, she wants to write five more books, create music, play the piano, and support the growth of her church both spiritually and financially to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
