Before being recruited by Guidehouse, Mr. Roy honed his skills at Price Waterhouse Coopers LLC (PwC), where he earned progressive roles, from consultant in 2011 to senior consultant between 2013 and 2015 and manager from 2015 to 2018. His early career was marked by various technical roles at Metrico Wireless as a wireless performance analyst in 2011, StatPoint Technologies Inc. as a product management intern in 2010, ST-Ericsson as a technology analyst in 2009, NXP Semiconductors as a technical leader between 2006 and 2009, Philips as a senior software engineer from 2005 to 2006, and Sasken as a software engineer between 2004 and 2005.
Throughout his career, Mr. Roy is proud of his contributions during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, during which he and his team played a pivotal role in enabling cross-functional support including technology solutions, process improvements, and human capital infrastructure for small businesses through the CARES legislation. Additionally, under his leadership at Guidehouse, significant strides were made in modernizing the Small Business Administration's flagship programs, laying the foundation for digital transformation and moving towards cloud-based systems.
Mr. Roy's academic background laid the foundation for his illustrious career. He earned a bachelor's degree in technology in instrumentation and control systems engineering from the National Institute of Technology in Tiruchirappalli in 2004 and a Master of Business Administration with a focus on strategy, marketing, and general management from Virginia Tech in 2011.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Roy is deeply committed to civic engagement through his involvement with Shikhsharth, a nonprofit organization in India.
