SCOTTSDALE, AZ, May 16, 2024 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dale Barnes has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Barnes has distinguished herself as a seasoned professional in the medical-legal field, with a career spanning over two decades. As the owner of Barnes Medical-Legal Services, she has worked diligently to bridge the gap between health care and law by working closely with attorneys on medical-related cases. Her expertise as a certified legal nurse consultant has been instrumental in her company's success, which prides itself on a robust client base fostered through word-of-mouth referrals—a testament to the quality and reliability of her services.

Ms. Barnes' career trajectory is marked by significant roles that have honed her skills and expanded her knowledge base. She owned two home health agencies with a group of oncologists in her early career. She previously found success as a clinical educator with Accredited Home Health Care, and held leadership positions at T.H.E. Health and Wellness Centers as its director of clinical services, and at Tranquil Hospice Inc., AccentCare and Life Care Solutions as a director of patient care services. Earlier, Ms. Barnes provided her services at Providence Home Care as a home health & infusion provider and worked as a nurse at Crescent Healthcare Inc. Additionally, she established the palliative care program at Sharp Grossmont Hospital during the early 2000s. Ms. Barnes was the director of Home Health and Hospice at Queen of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian, and then went to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was also the Director of Home Health and Hospice Services. Ms. Barnes is a mentor for as well as a presenter at webinars and conferences.

Ms. Barnes' commitment to her profession as well as her community is further demonstrated through active participation in various organizations. To wit, she is a member of the Phoenix Rotary 100 and has been involved with the wider Rotary International organization since 2001. She is past president of La Jolla Golden Triangle Rotary Club and a past president of the Rotary Club of Woodland Hills. She has also been in East Africa and Peru working on Rotary projects. Her dedication extends to other groups, such as the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants and the San Fernando Valley Quilt Guild. She is also now in three different quilt guilds in Arizona. Ms. Barnes was recently invited to be a member of the Board of Directors of a non-profit foundation called OSCOD-Opportunity for Survivors of Conflict, Oppression and Disaster.

Building upon her professional achievements, Ms. Barnes has also made significant contributions to her community through leadership roles and volunteer work. She served as president for two different Rotary clubs over her two-decade tenure with the organization and chaired the board for City of Angels Ballet.

Ms. Barnes' educational background laid the foundation for her successful career. After attaining a Bachelor of Science in education from Michigan State University she went on to teach elementary school for a number of years. Later, she went back to school and obtained an Associate of Arts in nursing from Valley College and went on to earn both a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing in psychiatric mental health from Azusa Pacific University. Extensively qualified, her certifications include a previous life and health insurance license from the California Department of Insurance, a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant designation from the National Association of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants/Legal (formerly known as the Vickie Milazzo Institute), and registered nurse licenses in Arizona, New York, and California.

Ms. Barnes' decision to enter her profession came during a tumultuous time in Los Angeles' health care industry, throughout which time she was working in administration amidst frequent mergers and acquisitions that often led to departmental closures or redundancies. It was during this period that she identified an opportunity to enhance her professional skills by pursuing certification as a legal nurse consultant.

Outside her professional life, Ms. Barnes is a mother of two children and four grandchildren who share her spirit of giving back to the community. Looking toward the future, she endeavors to maintain or grow her business while continuing its legacy of excellence.
