Mr. Edib has distinguished himself as a versatile professional with over 25 years of experience in the legal field, particularly known for his expertise in family and immigration law, as well as wills, estates, and trusts planning. As the managing attorney at the Law Office of Timur Edib since 2000, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to providing top-tier legal services. Mr. Edib's career journey is marked by a series of significant roles that showcase his diverse skill set and dedication to excellence.

Expanding his professional endeavors, Mr. Edib has served as a general counsel for Bay Atlantic University in Washington, D.C., since its establishment in 2014, providing extensive expertise to the institution. Outside the legal realm, he is the owner of North American Trade and Enterprise, LLC, since 2019 in Rockville, Maryland, and a real estate broker owning Sabrii Realty International in Maryland with six agents serving the Washington, D.C., and Maryland areas. His brokerage notably focuses on foreign investments and probate administration. He is also active in higher education as a former adjunct at Harrisburg Area Community College, where he taught science, and is now an adjunct with International American University.

Mr. Edib's academic background includes an Associate of Science in biology from Dutchess Community College in 1983, a Bachelor of Science in biology from Binghamton University in 1986, a Master of Public Administration from Arizona State University in 1992, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 1998, where he concentrated in business law, and was president of the Environmental Law Society. He is currently completing a PhD in psychology at Grand Canyon University. Mr. Edib's professional credentials include the Maryland Bar, Maryland and D.C. Real Estate Broker's licenses, and receiving credentials as a certified probate real estate specialist.

Inspired by author Leo Buscaglia, Mr. Edib attributes his success to appreciating others and advocating for their rights. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Edib is affiliated with several ethnic-based organizations, such as the Maryland American Turkish Association, where he is a past president, and current board member. He has been past treasurer with the Assembly of Turkish American Associations, past president of the Ataturk Society of America, past president to the Turkish American Association of Arizona, past board member to the American Turkish Association of DC and Turkish American Friendship Society of the US, and a founder of the Turkish American Association of Harrisburg, PA.

Mr. Edib's commitment to community service has been evident through various roles, including founding the ATACARES organization, working to find "Community Acquired Resources for Educational Success" in 2024. He has been a board member of the Western Montgomery County Citizen's Advisory Board for Montgomery County, Maryland, since 2019, a Panel Chair to the Commission of Common Ownership Community since 2024, and president of his HOA since 2009. Mr. Edib was active throughout his college career as a volunteer paramedic and as a volunteer with the American Red Cross, as an Instructor Trainer Educator for safety services, including lifeguard training.

Mr. Edib, son of Selma Safak, was born in The Bronx, NY, and currently resides in Rockville, Maryland. He is married to Melek (Demircan) of Ankara, Turkey. Their son is a mechatronics engineer, and their daughter is a licensed counselor.
