Between 2016 and 2020, Mr. Ramsey served as the Lead Service Manager of Quality at Purdue Manufacturing Extension Partnership. His efforts focused on assisting defense manufacturing companies collaborating with Crane Naval Base in southern Indiana. This work directly contributed to the safety and well-being of armed forces personnel.
Among other noteworthy roles, Mr. Ramsey was a quality assurance manager at Tissue Source LLC from 2012 to 2016, where he honed his skills in ensuring product excellence. He also served as a Six Sigma black quality assurance project analyst and lead auditor at NACCO Materials Handling Group Inc., where he worked between 2010 and 2012. Mr. Ramsey's career also included the financial analyst role within NACCO from 2010 to 2011.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Ramsey gained valuable experience in project management operations at Evonik Degussa Corporation in 2010 and operations project management at Eli Lilly and Company from 2003 to 2009. His journey began as a machinist and auditor at Kennametal between 1992 and 2001 and later as a machinist at Caterpillar Inc. from 2001 to 2003.
Mr. Ramsey's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in management and finance from Saint Joseph's College and a Master of Business Administration in health care from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, he holds several certifications, including a Six Sigma black belt certification from Purdue University in 2012, a core consulting skills certification from the Association of Internal Management Consultants in 2017, lead auditor credentials in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 27001, IAF 16949, and a medical device single audit program certification from Oriel STAT A MATRIX.
Mr. Ramsey's commitment to building strong relationships has been a cornerstone of his professional philosophy. He attributes much of his success to his rapport with clients and colleagues. He also prioritizes honesty and transparency, often advising clients against unnecessary expenditures if they are not in their best interest.
