In the early stages of her career, she served as a senior attorney for the Florida Department of Health Rehabilitative Services (now known as the Department of Children and Families), where she prosecuted child abuse and neglect cases. Ms. Mallory's expertise is further recognized through her academic contributions. In 2024, she was recruited by the Dean of Florida State University College of Law to serve as an adjunct professor. She graduated summa cum laude from Gulf Coast State College in 1982, receiving an Associate of Arts in general studies, followed by earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a computer science major with High Honors from University of Florida in 1984. Ms. Mallory completed her Juris Doctor at Florida State University College of Law in 1987, graduating with honors. She attributes her success to hard work, perseverance, and maintaining a balanced life--a philosophy that was instilled in her by her parents and has guided her since childhood.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Mallory has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to civic engagement. She served on the board of directors for the Gulf Coast Children's Advocacy Center and St. Andrews Bay Center, assisting vulnerable children and adults with disabilities. Ms. Mallory has also led fundraising campaigns for Florida State University College of Law and served as treasurer for the Wild Heron Property Owners Association.
