PHILADELPHIA, January 15, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Pamela Y. Keye, EdD, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Dr. Keye is an esteemed faculty member at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania who joined the institution in 2022 as the director of diversity, inclusion, and social responsibility. That same year, she became recognized as the chief social equity officer, managing the compliance unit and assisting individuals with Title IX, Early Education and Out of School Time, and student conduct to guarantee the campus remains a welcoming environment that fosters belonging.
In addition to her primary career objectives, Dr. Keye oversees the career development portfolio, assisting undergraduate students in realizing their potential and breaking the cycle of economic poverty. She also manages a workforce program that she created that reaches out to adults aged 25 and above interested in upscaling and rescaling programs, providing them with opportunities to obtain on-demand, industry-recognized credentials in the labor market that are relevant to the region. Moreover, Dr. Keye mentors individuals in the criminal justice system and coaches students interested in pursuing doctoral degrees related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Dr. Keye has also found success as the chief executive officer of Keye Global Group LLC in the Philadelphia metro area since 2012. She also has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector as the former reentry center manager at the Institute for Criminal Justice, Philadelphia Fight, and as a peer reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice. Among other roles, she is a sub-contractor and steering committee member for The Center for Social Innovation in Needham, Massachusetts. During an earlier time in her career, Dr. Keye was employed by the public school systems in Virginia, Maryland, and Massachusetts in administrative roles, including as the principal at the William H. Ruffner Middle School in Norfolk, Virginia, and as the regional superintendent of schools at Prince George's County Public Schools in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
Civically active, Dr. Keye has been involved with various criminal justice reform organizations and is credited as the co-founder of R3 Tech Firm, which supports incarcerated individuals. She has also been a vendor provider for the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition. Furthermore, Dr. Keye has volunteered at area soup kitchens and donated to people experiencing homelessness.
In preparation for her career, Dr. Keye achieved a Bachelor of Arts in biology from Lincoln University, a Master of Arts in educational administration from Old Dominion University, and a Doctor of Education Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
