BLUE RIDGE, TEXAS, January 16, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Robert Michael Barnett, CPIS, was selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Barnett has established himself as a principal systems engineer at RTX. With a career spanning over 45 years, he has become an authority in his field, particularly in the realm of Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing, a critical component of enterprise resource planning software.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Barnett has also served as a senior manufacturing engineer with RTX, a position he has held since 2012. Before these positions, he served as a business systems support lead for Raytheon Network Centric Systems' Sensors and Targeting Systems from 2011 to 2012. He also held the roles of manufacturing engineer II from 2001 to 2002 and systems engineer II in 2001 at Raytheon Texas Instruments Systems Inc., a company that is now known as RTX. His career commenced with Texas Instruments Defense Systems and Electronics Group in Dallas and Fort Worth, where he was involved in operations from 1978 to 1997.

Mr. Barnett's dedication to data accuracy and integrity is evident through his development of an inventory audit program that detects discrepancies between contract codes, groups and charge numbers. This program has been instrumental in managing large inventory lists with precision and remains actively used within the organization.

Building upon a solid educational foundation, Mr. Barnett earned a Bachelor of Science in business management from LeTourneau University in 1997. His academic background has been pivotal to his professional achievements, providing him with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in his field.

In line with his dedication to his field, Mr. Barnett is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society. Moreover, he became a Certified Process Improvement Specialist by Process Model CEO Scott Baird in 2007 and obtained certification as a Raytheon Six Sigma Specialist in 2003. He further bolstered his expertise through the TruePlanning - Hardware program with PRICE Systems LLC. Recognized for his significant contributions, Mr. Barnett received the President's Award in 2005 for his innovation in the customer return process.

Mr. Barnett's success can be attributed to his unwavering determination and commitment to excellence, which have been integral to his ability to make significant contributions to his organization. Outside of his professional life, he finds joy in restoring antique radios, with a particular fondness for bakelite All American Five models. Looking ahead, he plans to retire within the next decade and is committed to mentoring younger employees to ensure the longevity of his expertise within RTX post-retirement.
