Previously, Mr. Honka thrived as a partner and financial services practice leader at a midsized New York based CPA firm from 2015 to mid-2017, guiding the firm through challenges and opportunities. From 2008 to 2015 , he served as a director at EisnerAmper LLP, where he further developed his proficiency in managing and auditing complex financial operations. Mr. Honka's earlier roles included director positions at McGladrey and Pullen from 2006 to 2008, and he excelled as a senior manager with Goldstein Golub Kessler (GGK) between 2004 and 2006.

Mr. Honka initiated his career with foundational experiences, including a manager role at Ernst and Young from 2000 to 2001. He also dedicated three years to PricewaterhouseCoopers. His early endeavors also included a role as supervising senior at KPMG from 1995 to 1997, and Mr. Honka capably audited federal and state contracts for the Department of Labor for three years.

Throughout his career, Mr. Honka has been recognized for his many meaningful contributions. Notably, he was invited as an expert speaker to the Commodity Trading Alumni Association Expo and Emerging Manager Forum and published in HFM week, which featured his influence on emerging managers and startups. Mr. Honka's educational accomplishments further define his profile. While still in high school, he recognized his affinity for mathematics, business and accounting and later earned an Associate of Applied Science in accounting from Herkimer County Community College in 1989. Mr. Honka subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University in 1991 and focused attentively on refining a precise and logical approach to his craft.
