Concurrent with his position with Kruiz, Mr. Pauer has served as co-founder of The Dog Vacation since 2023, a venture inspired by his personal experiences and challenges of traveling with his pet. In the next five to 10 years, Mr. Pauer intends to grow The Dog Vacation to generate in excess of $10,000 monthly and expand the product line to include other grooming and pet supplies like conditioners and brushes.

During the pandemic, Mr. Pauer and his partner, Angela, welcomed a new member to their family—a mini dachshund who quickly became the center of their lives. On their first trip to Europe, they faced the heartbreaking reality that their dog was too young and unvaccinated to join them. Devastated by having to leave him behind, they vowed never to travel without him again. This promise shaped their future travel experiences and became the catalyst for two entrepreneurial ventures—The Dog Vacation and Kruiz. Despite the hurdles, the trip inspired them to write "How to Travel with Your Dog from the US to Europe," a blog article sharing their story and providing helpful tips. The article went viral, attracting thousands of monthly readers. As the blog gained traction, pet owners began reaching out for personalized advice and support. Recognizing the unmet demand for a comprehensive travel solution for pet owners, Mr. Pauer and his partner were inspired to create Kruiz. Kruiz is a revolutionary platform designed to simplify pet travel. Upon returning to the U.S., they developed their own solution, launching a line of organic pet shampoo bars in 2023. Prior to his entrepreneurial ventures, Mr. Pauer gained expertise in sales, technology and business development. Between 2022 and 2023, he was an enterprise sales representative at Starburst and an enterprise business development representative at Kukun, two startup organizations based in California that introduced Mr. Pauer to tech entrepreneurship. He previously worked at Intero Real Estate Services as a realtor from 2021 to 2022, where he honed essential skills such as client relations and deal closure. Earlier in his career, he was a property coordinator at Lincoln Property Company from 2019 to 2021 and a talent agent assistant at ICM Partners from 2018 to 2019.

Mr. Pauer's academic background includes a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of California Riverside, which he completed in 2018. He also holds several certifications, such as in conversational marketing and playbook basics through Drift in 2022 and a real estate salesperson license from the California Department of Real Estate in 2021. In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Pauer makes monthly donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to his community. His leadership skills were also evident during his time with Phi Kappa Psi, where he served as vice president of philanthropy and chapter president.
