Ms. Wild is lauded for her leadership as the senior vice president of corporate affairs at Perspectum Ltd. in Washington, D.C. Based in Oxford, U.K., the medical equipment manufacturing company specializes in providing solutions with more comprehensive diagnostics and health care professionals with more precise medicine for patients. In her role, Ms. Wild is tasked with leading the overall strategic planning and execution of Perspectum's corporate affairs initiatives across a multitude of channels and audiences.
Promoted to her position in 2023, Ms. Wild formerly served as the organization's vice president of corporate affairs from 2021 to 2023. She previously served as the president of Bedford Park Consultants, where some of her clients notably included Perspectum and Aimed Alliance. Ms. Wild also held various other leading roles with other companies, such as the Alliance for the Adoption of Innovations in Medicine (Aimed Alliance) as a senior policy advisor and executive director, the American Association of People with Disabilities as a program consultant, and Disability Power and Pride as an executive director.
During an earlier stage of her career, Ms. Wild worked in the government sector as the director of education and technology for the U.S. Department of State, as a national program manager for the U.S. Department of Labor, and as a program analyst for the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Throughout her career, Ms. Wild has become recognized for her work in strategic planning, team development, communications, and coalition building among key stakeholders. A true visionary, she has enjoyed challenging the status quo. Moreover, she has found great satisfaction mentoring the next generation of professionals and advocating for inclusion throughout the workforce and society.
As a dedicated member of her community, Ms. Wild has been involved in political fundraising to support and advocate for disabled individuals. She is also a former co-chair of the Disability Council and a former board member of the Washington Conservatory of Music. Most notably, Ms. Wild led the expansion of a high school high-tech program for disabled youth, recruited by former congressman Tony Coelho to serve on the President's Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities. Among many achievements, she provided technical assistance to federal employees and community members to promote careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics for high school students with disabilities and successfully grew the program from 13 sites in 1999 to over 60 nationwide within two years.
Highly educated, Ms. Wild earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science with a concentration in technology and policy studies from Carleton College in 1991. She also received a Master of Public Administration from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs in 1994.
In light of her success, Ms. Wild received an Excellence Award from the President's Council on Integrity and Efficiency in 2002. She attributes her good fortune to her father's passion and commitment to improving cancer screening, early detection, and diagnosis and to her mother, who taught her various life lessons.
