In this capacity, she teaches forensic accounting techniques, helps students navigate the complexities of the field, and meets with students to discuss their future careers and how to reach their career goals best. In addition to her work with FAU, she leverages her expertise as a consultant with Auditing, Forensics, and Consulting, LLC, and the Corporate Compliance Division Director for the Collier County Board of County Commissioners local government. Due to her vast knowledge, Ms. Gaillard has written multiple articles on government operations and ethics, and is in the process of writing additional ethics and computer technology related topic articles.

Previously, Ms. Gaillard honed her early stages of work experience as a senior internal auditor for the Collier County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, then the Internal Controls Manager for the Collier County Board of County Commissioners, and gained valuable knowledge as an Audit Manager for the City of Fort Lauderdale. She enhanced her forensic and investigative experience with the Palm Beach County Office of Inspector General as the Director of Audit/Chief Audit Executive and now serves as the Corporate Compliance Division Director for Collier County Board of County Commissioners, where she has honed in on additional experiences in financial operations and financial statements, utility finance and bond covenants, animal services operations, internal investigations, implementation of college internship programs, and countywide process improvement and enhancement to ensure compliance for the local government.

An expert in her field, Ms. Gaillard holds a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minor in psychology and a master's degree in accounting and taxation from Florida Gulf Coast University. She is involved at the national level to give back to the profession with the Association of Government Accountants and their Professional Ethics Board. Outside of her professional endeavors and affiliations, Ms. Gaillard contributes to her community as a student mentor at Florida Gulf Coast University's undergraduate business program.

Throughout her career, Ms. Gaillard has conducted multiple public speaking engagements and received multiple awards for her involvement in public speaking, volunteer work, and general public contributions. Additionally, she has been recognized several times through Toastmasters International as a Competent Communicator, Competent Leader, and Dynamic Leadership, among other public speaking awards. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes great pride in having been able to establish data analytics programs, mentorship programs, and internship programs in multiple local governments to help efficiency and effectiveness and foster the growth of our future leaders.
