Likewise, her entrepreneurial spirit was evident early in her career as the owner and operator of Carol Way Cisco Interiors from 1981 to 1985. Ms. Cisco's academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior design from the Illinois Institute of Art Chicago, which she obtained in 2012. This education has been foundational to her success, equipping her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her profession.
Building upon her professional achievements, Ms. Cisco has been recognized with numerous awards that reflect her dedication to excellence in design. In 2023 alone, she received multiple Heartland Design Excellence Awards from ASID for various categories, including health and wellness and sustainable design. Her work has also been honored with CARE Awards for Whole House Remodel over $1 Million and Best New Renovation 4K and Above. Furthermore, the ASID Foundation Irene Winifred Eno Grant for Academic Research acknowledged her impact on disabled veterans through interior design.
