The foundation of Ms. Donahue's illustrious career was laid at McCaw Cellular Communications in Santa Barbara, California, where she was a business solutions manager from 1989 to 1991. Continually developing in her industry, she became a government account executive at US West Cellular in Phoenix between 1991 and 1996 and a federal account manager at Bell Atlantic Nynex Mobile in Boston from 1996 to 1998. Ms. Donahue's dedication and skill in fostering professional relationships have been pivotal to her success.

Ms. Donahue has been affiliated with the U.S. Department of Affairs as a volunteer coffee server. She has also provided consultation services pro bono to assist small businesses in her community with various aspects, including document preparation, credo development, and employment reviews.
