Affiliated with Everbank as a lead information security analyst of its IAM team since 2023, she leverages her expertise to oversee a generously sized engineering team and spearhead the cyber security group's identity and access management division. Ms. Kennett is also tasked with assembling and launching access reviews for all company applications and users and, among other objectives, serves as the primary liaison between the bank and internal and external audit partners.

Based in Jacksonville, Florida, Everbank is recognized as a diversified financial services company providing various banking and investing services. Having begun her career with the organization in 2009, Ms. Kennett specialized in mortgages as a loan assistant. However, she chose to pivot after realizing its limited growth prospects. Hired to work in administration for Florida's Office of the State Attorney, she later reached out to Everbank's IMA cybersecurity team, which was initially integrating a vendor to automate access reviews company-wide. Expressing an interest in helping identify areas for improvement, she was hired back as an audit, invoice, and release analytics coordinator, where she earned expertise in conducting access reviews. Ms. Kennett became an information security analyst from 2019 to 2021 and a security information analyst between 2021 and 2023. Looking toward future success, she envisions shifting toward roles in investigation and management within her organization.

Through her community, Ms. Kennett has lent her time to mentoring a local high school student. She has also volunteered by preparing bagged lunches for children in need.

Ms. Kennett graduated with an associate degree with a specialty in medical and clinical assistance from Florida Technical College in 2008. She also garnered an associate degree in criminal justice and corrections through the Florida Department of Health in 2019. Ms. Kennett received credentials as a class C licensed Florida investigator intern through the National Investigative Training Academy Inc. in 2019 and as a certified cyber intelligence investigator through the McAfee Institute in 2022.
