Ms. Daniels has had a distinguished career in the legal field, marked by significant contributions and numerous accolades. She has been a senior judge for the State of Missouri since 2018. Before her retirement, she was the probate judge in Boone County, Missouri, and had docket responsibilities in the general criminal division where she conducted hearings and criminal arraignments from her election to the bench in 2006. Additionally, Ms. Daniels has been a neutral with Lexitas since 2020, further showcasing her extensive expertise in the legal domain.

Beginning in 1983, she was an adjunct law professor at the University of Missouri for nearly three decades, concluding her tenure in 2012. Currently, there are two Missouri Supreme Court judges, two Court of Appeals Judges, and 2 circuit judges who participated in her appellate courses.

Ms. Daniels' illustrious career began in 1977, following her graduation from law school. She started as a clerk for the Missouri Supreme Court and became the director of the research staff in 1979. After the birth of her second child, Ms. Daniels transitioned to an independent consultant role for the clerk's office, focusing on the criminal instructions committee. In the late 1990s, she joined the Boone County Prosecutor's Office for a five-year stint before taking on the role of the head of the criminal division at the attorney general's office. In 2006, she ran for office and began her service on the circuit court bench in Boone County in 2007, a testament to Ms. Daniels's diverse and extensive experience in the legal field.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Daniels acquired a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri Columbia in 1972 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence on campus.

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. Daniels has been actively involved in various civic organizations. She has served on the board of directors for the Phoenix and Columbia Public Schools Foundation and has been engaged with United Way, and the Boone County Historical Society. She is also a life fellow of the American Bar Foundation.

Ms. Daniels's contributions have been recognized with several awards, including a Faculty Achievement Award from the University of Missouri. She was also twice recognized by the Judicial Conference of Missouri for advancements in the administration of justice and is also recognized as an ASTAR Fellow and a Science Technology Resource Judge. Ms. Daniels's dedication and innate ability to spot legal issues have been instrumental in her success.
