Mr. Willis is a distinguished professional in the field of cyber technology, currently serving as the director of cyber and technology at Kalles Group. With more than 25 years of experience in his profession, he leads a practice that encompasses risk and security portfolios. He manages a team that assists clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies, provides thought leadership regularly, and spearheads strategies for business development, marketing and consulting engagements.

Mr. Willis joined Kalles Group in 2019 as a senior cyber risk consultant. He was promoted to practice manager of cyber programs in 2022 before assuming his current role in 2023. Prior to his tenure at Kalles Group, he served as a security and compliance consultant at DISYS in 2019 and as lead consultant for security compliance at Volt Workforce Solutions from 2017 to 2019.

Mr. Willis' career includes significant roles at Thomson Reuters, where he held various positions from 2008 to 2017. These roles included director of information systems security officer, director of technology governance and quality assurance, director of technology governance and planning, director of technology operations and technology manager. During his time at Thomson Reuters, he oversaw software and infrastructure developments and transitioned into new areas of technology, building credibility around realistic planning from timing, budget and resourcing standpoints.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Willis was a principal consultant at PA Consulting Group from 2007 to 2008 and manager of IT process frameworks at Circuit City from 2005 to 2007. He also served as manager of engineering support at SITA from 1998 to 2005. His professional journey began with seven years as an air traffic controller in the United States Air Force, where he developed structures and organizational habits that have significantly contributed to his success.

Mr. Willis holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in military science from Troy University, where he graduated in 2002. He also completed coursework at Boise State University. He was certified in cyber security and privacy law by Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 2016 and earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation from ISC2.

Mr. Willis attributes much of his success to the support of his wife and daughter, along with the confidence and humility instilled by his military background. His dedication to both his professional endeavors and personal interests underscores his commitment to excellence and community involvement.

In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Willis is actively involved in civic organizations as a volunteer for animal rescues. He and his brother co-host the podcast "ATL and 29," which focuses on basketball discussions.

Outside of his career, Mr. Willis enjoys coaching basketball and spending time with his family. Looking ahead, he aims to help grow Kalles Group further while continuing to support local nonprofits. He also aspires to share lessons and wisdom from his extensive experience with young people.
