His career then led him to a long-standing role as a site manufacturing quality manager for Abbott Diagnostics upon graduating.

In the following years, Mr. Arrendell leverages his regulatory affairs, quality auditing, root cause analysis, and mechanical engineering expertise as the vice president of global quality systems for Wright Medical Technology, the vice president of global quality and regulatory affairs for KCI Medical, and the worldwide vice president of quality management for Becton Dickinson. Drawing on years of professional expertise, Mr. Arrendell excels with Jabil Healthcare as a worldwide vice president of quality management and chief quality officer.

Mr. Arrendell is not only an expert in his field but also a dedicated community member. He is actively involved in several industry organizations, including the American Society for Quality, Phi Tau Sigma, and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. In addition to his professional endeavors, he contributes to his community through Screen Creek United Methodist Church, Rhodes Master Singers, and the University of Texas College of Engineering's board of advisors.

Given his professional achievements, Mr. Arrendell was featured as a Top Professional in the Wall Street Journal. In 2022, he was also honored as one of the Top 25 Healthcare Leaders in San Antonio through the Health Technology Report. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in his regulatory compliance track record, having established connections with regulators across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, he credits his success to his ability to connect with people and his mentors, Steve Robertson and Claude Crawford.
