Mr. Van Dyk's tenure at Kemin Industries Inc. saw him in multiple roles, beginning as the worldwide vice president of marketing and strategy from 2014 to 2019 and then as the general manager of Kemin Biologics until 2020.

Mr. Van Dyk's career began at Elanco, where he held various positions between 2002 and 2014. He started as a sales representative and became a senior sales representative. From there, he was named a national sales manager. Mr. Van Dyk then transitioned into a national marketing and corporate affairs manager, regional marketing manager for the Asia-Pacific Rim, APAC marketing director for all food animal species and the South Africa affiliate, and finally, the APAC marketing director for all food animal species.

Mr. Van Dyk is highly educated and has earned numerous degrees. His foundational education includes a bachelor's degree in agriculture with concentrations in animal science, nutrition, physiology and breeding in 1995 and a bachelor's degree in agriculture with specializations in nutrition and animal breeding in 1996 from the University of the Orange Free State. Subsequently, Mr. Van Dyk received a master's degree in animal science on campus with a focus on animal breeding in 1999. He also garnered a Master of Business Administration from the University of Potchefstroom in 2003.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. Van Dyk is civically engaged as the chair of Ocean Harvest Technology Group PLC. His involvement with this organization underscores his commitment to contributing positively to broader societal goals.
