SAN DIEGO, January 23, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Yonatan "Yogi" Hernandez has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Hernandez is a distinguished professional with a multifaceted career spanning over two decades. Since 2023, he has served as the podcast host of Mil2Vet and the founder of MCTPS, a recruiting company specializing in the aerospace and defense industry. In this capacity, he leverages his extensive military experience to provide valuable insights and support to transitioning service members. His dedication to this cause is evident in his most significant accomplishment: successfully placing 160 out of 200 transitioning service members into jobs.

Mr. Hernandez's military career began in 2002 when he joined the United States Navy. Over the course of 22 years, he rose to the rank of chief petty officer and is stationed in Coronado, California. His tenure in the Navy has been marked by numerous commendations and awards, including multiple military commendations and the Meritorious Volunteer Service Medal for Community Service. These accolades reflect his commitment to both his country and his community.

In addition to his military service, Mr. Hernandez has held several notable positions in the civilian sector. From 2023 to 2024, he worked as an executive recruiter at Elray Search, where he honed his skills in talent acquisition and placement. Prior to that, he was a business owner of Yogiway from 2014 to 2016, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. Earlier in his career, he served as a team lead manager at Whole Foods Market in Houston, Texas, from 2000 to 2001.

Mr. Hernandez's educational background includes coursework in military aviation, which has been instrumental in shaping his professional journey. He attributes his success to actively listening, seeking guidance from mentors, and learning from both juniors and seniors. As a first-generation immigrant, he joined the military to establish a legacy for his family and inspire them to pursue military careers.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. Hernandez is deeply involved in various industry-related organizations such as ABC of the United States in California, the California Alarm Association, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the San Diego Veterans Coalition. He also serves as a mentor for the Big Brother Big Sister Foundation, further exemplifying his commitment to community service.

In his personal life, Mr. Hernandez enjoys spending time with family, riding motorcycles, and connecting with people. He and his wife share a passion for supporting others, and his plans for the near future include expanding the reach of his podcast to support more service members and prevent them from becoming homeless or succumbing to negativity. Inspired by Mr. Hernandez's stories, the San Diego Veterans Coalition has developed the SCAR Program to assist service members in their medical transition process.

Mr. Hernandez hopes that his legacy will endure and continue to aid numerous service members in successfully establishing connections across the United States and worldwide. This support network will help them transition to civilian life smoothly and be welcomed with open arms, providing a safety net during challenging times.
