His tenure in the Navy has been marked by numerous commendations and awards, including multiple military commendations and the Meritorious Volunteer Service Medal for Community Service. In addition to his military service, Mr. Hernandez has held several notable positions in the civilian sector. From 2023 to 2024, he worked as an executive recruiter at Elray Search, where he honed his skills in talent acquisition and placement. Prior to that, he was a business owner of Yogiway from 2014 to 2016, demonstrating his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. Earlier in his career, he served as a team lead manager at Whole Foods Market in Houston, Texas, from 2000 to 2001.

Mr. Hernandez's educational background includes coursework in military aviation, which has been instrumental in shaping his professional journey.
