Ms. Hedgepeth is a distinguished real estate professional who has dedicated over 15 years to the field. As the owner and broker-in-charge at Lake Gaston Celebrations Rental Homes and Lake Gaston Edge Realty since 2014 and 2016, respectively, she has been assisting clients achieve their vacation and long-term rental goals, as well as their investment, residential, land, commercial real estate, and conduct property management needs. As part of her ongoing responsibilities, Ms. Hedgepeth also assists her agents, ensures continuing education requirements are met, assists with complex inquiries, analyzes paperwork for legal compliance, and more.

Before establishing her two locations, Ms. Hedgepeth began as an associate broker at Wilkie Real Estate Inc. from 2007 to 2011. She then advanced to become a broker at Coldwell Banker Advantage: Lake Gaston between 2011 and 2016. Ms. Hedgepeth's expertise in commercial and residential real estate, sales, rentals, and administrative work has been instrumental in her success.

Among other professional ventures, Ms. Hedgepeth had a notable tenure with Tupperware. Starting as a salesperson in 1977, she quickly rose to become a unit manager and later a franchise owner and distributor from 1988 to 1997. During this period, she was able to pay off a substantial franchise quickly, allowing her to invest her money elsewhere. Ms. Hedgepeth's early career also included a tenure as an English teacher at a high school in North Town, Virginia, from 1968 to 1973.

Ms. Hedgepeth earned a Bachelor of Science in secondary education with a major in English and journalism from Radford University in 1968. She had previously graduated as the salutatorian of Southampton High School in 1965. Becoming well-qualified in her industry, Ms. Hedgepeth received the Accredited Buyer's Representative designation from Coldwell Banker Advantage Lake Gaston in 2009.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Hedgepeth is actively involved in several industry-related organizations, including the National Association of Realtors, the North Carolina Realtors, the Roanoke Valley Lake Gaston Board of Realtors, and the Multiple Listing Service. She is a member of the Lake Gaston Baptist Church and a volunteer at the Lake Gaston Computer Club. Ms. Hedgepeth previously gave back as the director of the Lake Gaston Water Safety Council from 2005 to 2016 and the Lake Gaston Association from 2008 to 2015.

In her inaugural year of teaching, Ms. Hedgepeth was nominated as the Young Teacher of the Year in 1969, a significant milestone that set the tone for her future achievements.
