Dr. Naylor-Hill's dedication extends beyond academia into community service. She is the president of her local Kiwanis Club of Atlanta and a senior vice president of Junior Achievement of Georgia. She has also worked with the United Service Organizations (USO).
The foundation of Dr. Naylor-Hill's professional success can be traced back to her academic accomplishments. Her educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and teaching from Spelman College in 1967. She then attended Clark Atlanta University, receiving a master's degree in teaching and reading in 1969 and a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration in 1985. During her studies, Dr. Naylor-Hill was elected into the Phi Delta Kappa Society.
Dr. Naylor-Hill's career is marked by a series of achievements that underscore her status as an expert in her field. She has been recognized as the Teacher of the Year by Atlanta Public Schools and received the Vulcan Teacher of the Year award from Clark Atlanta University in 2010.
