RICHLAND, WA, January 25, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Britt M. Creer has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Creer has established a distinguished career in the real estate development sector as president of Urban Range Group. With nine years at the helm of the company, Mr. Creer has been instrumental in overseeing significant projects, including more than $120-million of multi-family property development projects in Tri-Cities, Washington. His expertise extends to land acquisition, development and construction management. Currently, Mr. Creer is finalizing development agreements with the City of Kennewick Department of Public Works for a 170-acre real estate development project, ensuring that infrastructure supports both safety and efficiency.
Prior to his current role at Urban Range Group, Mr. Creer served as the director of project controls at CH2M in Richland, Kennewick and Pasco, Washington, from 2015 to 2016. Before that appointment, he was an oil, gas and mining project management consultant with ARES Project Management from 2012 to 2015, having also served as a project management consultant from 2011 to 2012. His career also includes serving as the Los Alamos project director and the director of business development at Energy Solutions from 2010 to 2011 and the director of project controls from 2006 to 2010. Earlier roles include being a project management consultant at the ARES Corporation from 2001 to 2006 and contributing to the U.S. Department of Energy's nuclear weapons program at Los Alamos National Laboratory for two years.
Mr. Creer's career is marked by significant achievements, such as establishing project management offices at Canadian Oil Sands Limited and leading initiatives that have shaped major projects for the U.S. Department of Defense and NASA. He is particularly proud of his contributions to the retirement of the space shuttle program after the Space Shuttle Columbia disaster by conducting risk analysis essential for developing a component for the International Space Station's Environmental Control and Life Support System. His efforts were crucial in eliminating the need for space-consuming water drums and ensuring the timely completion of this critical component.
A former member of the Project Management Institute, Mr. Creer's professional affiliations reflect his commitment to excellence in his field. His academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in business management, with a minor in project management, from Utah Valley University in 2001 and certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
The foundation of Mr. Creer's success lies in cultivating lasting relationships within his industry and community. This skill has been pivotal not only in his professional achievements but also in his personal life decisions. The desire to prioritize family led him to establish Urban Range Group, allowing him to remain close to home and engage with local opportunities rather than continue with frequent travel for work.
Looking ahead, Mr. Creer envisions retiring within a timeframe that coincides with his youngest child completing high school education. An avid golfer, he anticipates spending more time on the greens and cherishing moments with his grandchildren upon retirement. With six children who have been central to his life decisions, Mr. Creer's personal aspirations are closely intertwined with his family' milestones and well-being.
