Mr. Figueroa Swasey is a seasoned professional with nearly two decades of experience in the aerospace industry and currently serves as the global space and North America helicopter segment sales manager at SKF Group in Dallas-Fort Worth. In this role, he is responsible for managing contract negotiations and long-term agreements, focusing on team development and examining terms and conditions with customers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. Specializing in sales and business development, he is instrumental in the progress of flight-critical bearings, seals and precision elastomeric devices for aerospace platforms.

During his time at SKF Group, Mr. Figueroa Swasey has served as the aerospace sales manager for the company's North America helicopter, fixed-wing and eVTOL segments from 2023 to 2024 and as the national account manager for SKF Aerospace from 2020 to 2023. His career also includes significant roles at Northstar Aerospace in Chicago, Illinois, where he was an engineering manager from 2018 to 2020 and a program manager from 2013 to 2018. Earlier in his career, he worked as a manufacturing engineer specializing in heat treatment processes from 2012 to 2013 and held various quality engineering positions from 2010 to 2012.

Mr. Figueroa Swasey's knowledge and expertise have been recognized through his support of L3Harris Technologies following their acquisition of Aerojet Rocketdyne in 2023. He is a lifetime member of the Association of the United States Army and the Army Aviation Association of America. His professional journey is marked by his commitment to mentoring younger colleagues, fostering strong relationships based on trust and guiding them in their decision-making processes.

Mr. Figueroa Swasey is committed to being part of the organizational change at SKF when it comes to diversity and inclusion in the workplace. In October 2021, SKF's Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council was established by an employee-led effort of over one hundred North America colleagues. He has been a key stakeholder on the council and active in the group working towards the goal of having a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. Educationally, Mr. Figueroa Swasey holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. He also participated in a national student exchange program at North Carolina State University in mechanical engineering in 2004. His academic background is complemented by several certifications, including a project management certificate from Northwestern University and various auditor certifications from Vastek Consulting, SAI Global and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign business innovation services.

Mr. Figueroa Swasey's success is deeply rooted in his unwavering faith in God and the teachings from his church, which have provided him with a strong foundation for personal growth. He also draws inspiration from his mother's life lessons and values and strives to use his leadership abilities to help others. Outside of his professional life, Mr. Figueroa Swasey cherishes spending time with his family at their lake home, where they enjoy activities such as kayaking and fishing.
