Prior to this role, he served as a senior electrical engineer at Collins Aerospace in North Carolina from 2022 to 2023, where he was instrumental in designing first-class aircraft seats. His tenure at Triumph Systems and Support in West Hartford as a senior electronics test engineer spanned from 2014 to 2022 and was marked by significant contributions to the field of electronics testing.

In past years, Mr. Truong found success in a number of electrical engineering positions throughout the field, including for Goodrich Pump and Engine Control Systems Inc., Geospatial Systems, ACT Robots Inc., and Legrand, beginning in 2004. Over the course of his career, his membership in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has underscored his commitment to staying abreast of industry developments and contributing to the wider industry.

Mr. Truong's educational background laid the foundation for his professional achievements. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Connecticut in 2002, followed by a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hartford in 2010
Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Truong is dedicated to giving back to the community through volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity and has been recognized with various karate awards, reflecting his decades of commitment to martial arts. His passion for karate is only matched by the joy he finds in spending time with his children.

Taking great pride in his Vietnamese heritage, Mr. Truong drew inspiration from the example of his father, who served in the American military and, after the Vietnam War, was able to bring his family to the United States.
