FAIRVIEW, NC, January 28, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William Bond has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

From the time he was in high school, Mr. Bond knew he wanted to become a lawyer. Upon earning a Bachelor of Arts in political science and economics from the University of Memphis in 1975, he received a JD from the same institution. After graduating, he went into private practice. Nearly six months into his practice, he met someone on an elevator who was in charge of hiring prosecutors. Although he knew that the position did not pay much money, he took the position and stayed in the role for 40 years. Over the years, Mr. Bond has also assisted in crafting legislation, including the "chop shop law," the "Victims' Rights Amendment" in Nashville, and a re-write of the "Implied Consent Law."

Drawing on years of expertise in toxicology, litigation, and DUI and vehicular homicide cases, Mr. Bond excels as the assistant district attorney general for the State of Tennessee. Outside his work, he contributes to his community through the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in working with the state legislature to pass an amendment to the Constitution regarding the Victim Rights Act. Similarly, Mr. Bond is honored to have contributed to changes in the state's domestic violence laws.

Though hard work and dedication have brought him far in his career, Mr. Bond credits his success to his drive to do what needs to be done, and Assistant District Attorney Jim Hall, who recruited him to become a prosecutor, as well as Judge John T. "Buddy" Dwyer. Looking toward the future, Mr. Bond intends to remain active in his community and experience continued success in his career.
