Her expertise in product portfolio management and business strategy was further honed during her time as a senior consultant at YourEncore from 2015 to 2019. Additionally, she held the position as head of customer experience at Rosetta Genomics from 2012 to 2014, where she developed a call center and IT communications to effectively link the laboratory and physicians office.

Ms. Thomas's career trajectory includes significant roles at Johnson and Johnson, where she served as the worldwide marketing director for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics from 2006 to 2010 and worldwide product director from 2005 to 2006. This overlapped with a nine-year tenure as the company's marketing business development director, which allowed her to contribute to the development of laboratory instruments related to thrombosis and hematology. Her initial professional experience began at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, working in medical research to develop with external companies the first platelet storage container and conditions for extending the platelet storage dating cleared by the FDA.

Ms. Thomas's academic background laid a strong foundation for her career achievements. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in biochemistry from Upsala College in 1976, furthered her education with coursework in digital marketing at Rutgers University and completed an executive program at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Thomas's involvement with industry-related organizations such as the American Association for Clinical Chemistry and TriBeta reflects her dedication to the scientific community. She is also a fellow of the American Heart Association, an honor that underscores her contributions to medical research and health care advancements.
