AUSTIN, TEXAS, January 29, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Prof. Sami Froncek has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Having cultivated a multifaceted career in music and education, Prof. Froncek has served as a member of the TransformED team at Austin Community College since 2019. In this role, she supports faculty members in their instructional endeavors and contributes to the development of innovative educational strategies for the future of Austin Community College. Additionally, Prof. Froncek shares her musical talents as an adjunct faculty member at the college, where she imparts her knowledge and passion for music to students.

Since 2022, Prof. Froncek has also been a collaborative artist with Tarrytown United Methodist Church, where she performs and works with other musicians to enhance worship services. Her dedication to music education is also evident through her ongoing work as a piano teacher. Prior to her current positions, she was a pianist at Dripping Springs Methodist Church and served as a piano instructor at Dallas/Music.

Prof. Froncek's commitment to her profession extends beyond her teaching and performance roles. She is an active member of the American Guild of Organists and the Music Teachers National Association. These affiliations reflect her dedication to continuous learning and professional development within the field of music.

The foundation of Prof. Froncek's expertise in music was laid at Baylor University, where she earned both a Bachelor of Music in piano performance in 2011 and a Master of Music in piano performance in 2013. She further honed her skills by obtaining a postgraduate diploma as a piano concert artist from Artesis University College in Antwerp, Belgium. The complex process of pursuing education in Belgium and moving internationally taught Prof. Froncek valuable lessons about determination and problem-solving that she continues to apply in her professional life.

Prof. Froncek's education in music began at a young age, as she started taking lessons when she was just five years old. When she faced health challenges during high school, she began to focus more intently on playing music as part of her recovery process. This experience not only helped improve her physical well-being but also steered her toward pursuing music professionally.

After receiving a scholarship from the American Guild of Organists, Prof. Froncek was supported by dedicated mentors throughout her academic journey. She attributes much of her success to this guidance, which fostered her growth as both an educator and a musician. Because of this, Prof. Froncek remains in touch with many of her graduate and undergraduate professors to this day. She has taken inspiration from their mentorship and has used it to fuel her own passion for teaching students to love music.
