Mr. Meyer is a distinguished Executive Vice President of operations at Reynolds American Inc., where he has been instrumental in optimizing the factory and supply chain footprints since 2021. His efforts have also led to substantial progress in environmental key performance indicators, demonstrating a strong commitment to sustainable manufacturing practices.

Mr. Meyer's career spans over three decades, beginning with his role as a Project Manager and Shift Manager in production at British American Tobacco in Bayreuth, Germany, from 1993 to 1998. He then served as Regional Technology Coordinator for Europe manufacturing in London from 1999 to 2001. Following this, he became the Production Manager at BAT Germany until 2004. His expertise continued to grow as he took on the role of Operations Director at BAT Ukraine from 2004 to 2007.

In 2007, Mr. Meyer transitioned to the position of Demand Chain General Manager for the Southern Africa area at British American Tobacco in Heidelberg, South Africa, where he served until 2011. He then became the Global Head of Plan, Service and Logistics in London until 2013. From there, he advanced to Group Head of Supply Chain until 2014 before becoming Operations Director Germany and head of Western Europe manufacturing until 2015. His leadership skills were further recognized when he was appointed Regional Operations Director for Western Europe from 2016 to 2017 and subsequently for Europe and North Africa until 2021.

Mr. Meyer's academic background includes a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University of Munich in Germany, obtained in 1993. This education laid a solid foundation for his career in Operations and Supply Chain Management.

Known for his authenticity and strong people leadership skills, Mr. Meyer genuinely cares about others, which fosters trust and connection in every interaction. He also plans to share his passion for teaching by contributing to leadership and supply chain/manufacturing education at universities.
