KANSAS CITY, MO, January 30, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Amber DiGiovanni has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. DiGiovanni is a distinguished executive chef, author, professional speaker and philanthropist with over 30 years of experience in her profession. She is currently the chief executive officer and executive chef at The Wonder Dog LLC, a role she has held since 2023. Her journey in the culinary world began as a child, having been born into a family with several generations of professional culinarians and continues today as an advocate for canine nutrition.

Ms. DiGiovanni's career includes notable positions such as executive chef, project manager, and culinary director at Compass Community Living from 2022 to 2023. She also served as an executive chef at Compass Group's Unidine at Lake Regional Health System from 2021 to 2022 and at Uptown Theater from 2018 to 2022. Additionally, she was the corporate chef and manager at Woods Supermarket in 2021 and hosted a radio talk show from 1999 to 2006. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish DiGiovanni Publishing in 2004.

Ms. DiGiovanni's literary contributions include "Dining With the Dog-Ma!" published in 2024, "Midwestern Soul Food" published in 2010 and "A Passion for Food" published in 2006. She has also made appearances on the History Channel's "American Pickers" and is an accomplished public speaker and frequent talk show guest. Her book "Dining With the Dog-Ma" holds special significance as it reflects her mission to inspire others through her experiences and advocacy for canine nutrition.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Ms. DiGiovanni also served in the Civil Air Patrol for two years and completed four years of Reserve Officers' Training Corps. Her military background has contributed to her disciplined approach and resilience in her professional endeavors. In addition, her dedication to civic engagement is evident through her lifetime membership with the Girl Scouts of the USA and her former position on the board of directors for the Girl Scouts of the State of Oklahoma.

Her journey into the culinary field started at age 8 with writing recipes. She is a fourth generation culinarian in her family. Ms. DiGiovanni's canine philanthropy was inspired by Simon, her oldest dog, who languished in a no-kill shelter for three years before she adopted him. Her efforts in cooking for Simon have significantly extended his life expectancy, leading her to share her knowledge through her book "Dining With the Dog-Ma!" aimed at educating others on canine nutrition. She also founded the first scholarship for search and rescue dogs in America: "The Canine Hero Fund."

In addition to her professional achievements, Ms. DiGiovanni enjoys dancing, acting and gardening. Looking ahead, she aspires to deliver TED Talks and is developing keynote material based on her childhood experiences and how she overcame them, titled "Into The Light, become not just a survivor, but a thriver!" as well as her keynote: "Become Your Dog's Best Friend, both in the kitchen and beyond the bowl!" Her ongoing desire is to consistently work to make a difference in the world and for the greater good.
