Before joining RRC, Mr. Garcia spent over a decade at Serena Energy, based in Brazil. Hired in 2013 as a development manager in San Paolo, he was then appointed as the development superintendent, where he managed key projects and operations. From there, he became the director of energy and innovation, leading efforts to develop cutting-edge energy projects and innovative solutions before being named the director of energy and technology, focusing on integrating advanced technologies into energy solutions. In 2022, Mr. Garcia transferred to the company's Austin, Texas, location as the director of global development. In this capacity, he oversaw international projects and expanded the company's global footprint.

Before his time at Serena Energy, Mr. Garcia excelled as the chief operating officer at Ecopart from 2011 to 2012, following his role as project manager between 2007 and 2010. His career also included a partnership at iX Consultores Associados from 2005 to 2007 and as an energy and regulatory consultant at MS Consultoria between 2002 and 2005.

Mr. Garcia earned a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics, electrical and communications engineering in 2002 and a master's degree in electrical engineering in 2006 from the Federal University of Itajubá in 2006. He also received a master's degree in finance from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in São Paulo in 2008. Mr. Garcia's education has shaped his approach to business and technology, allowing him to stay attuned to market opportunities and trends.

In recognition of his achievements, Mr. Garcia received the Project Finance of the Year award in 2009, underscoring his expertise in managing complex financial aspects of large-scale energy projects.
