With a career spanning more than seven years, he has made significant contributions to the field of atmospheric science, particularly in the areas of aerosol science and machine learning. His work involves analyzing data sets from various customers to assess emissions, refine algorithms and process codes, and prepare technical presentations for conferences and panels.

Dr. Dawson's professional journey began as an undergraduate research assistant at the Energy BioScience Institute of the University of Illinois from 2010 to 2011. After completing his bachelor's degree in atmospheric science, he joined North Carolina State University as a research assistant and teaching assistant, roles he held until 2017. During this period, he also worked as a visiting researcher at Duke University from 2012 to 2014 and as a research assistant at NASA Ames Research Center in 2015.

In 2018, Dr. Dawson became a postdoctoral research fellow at NASA Langley Research Center, where he further honed his expertise in atmospheric science until 2020. He subsequently transitioned to Bayer Crop Science as a data scientist, a position he held until 2022, after which he joined SeekOps Inc. Throughout his career, Dr. Dawson has been an active member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Meteorological Society, the American Geophysical Union, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the American Waste Management Association.

Dr. Dawson's academic achievements have been pivotal to his success. Initially studying atmospheric science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, from which he earned a Bachelor of Science in 2011, he went on to receive a Master of Science in the same subject in 2013. Following this accomplishment, he attained a PhD in atmospheric science from North Carolina State University in 2017. Additionally, he holds a Microsoft Certified Azure AI Fundamentals certification, obtained in 2022.
