Hailing from nearly three decades of expertise in the areas of business development, strategic planning and program management, Dr. Hackett has distinguished herself as the chief executive officer of Ultimate Business Resources since 2001. Working in a consultative capacity with a diverse array of organizations, from nonprofits to state-level institutions, she has strived to assist clients in achieving their organizational objectives and prepare them for long-term success.

Dr. Hackett's journey has been marked by significant roles that have contributed to her expertise and leadership. Before her current role, she was the director of institutional effectiveness at Central Texas College from 2015 to 2018, where she played a pivotal role in enhancing the college's operational efficiency. Her leadership skills were previously honed as the chief executive officer and executive director of Bridge to Success Learning Center from 2010 to 2013, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educational advancement. Between 2004 and 2010, she served as a senior project manager at Pearson Assessments, where she significantly contributed to the achievement of state education objectives.

Dr. Hackett's career also includes positions that laid the groundwork for her expertise in educational administration and business management. She was an administrative intern doctoral student at Austin Community College from 2000 to 2001, which provided her with hands-on experience in academic administration. Prior to this, she served as the director of institutional research and assessment at Huston-Tillotson University from 1997 to 2000 and held various roles within the State of Texas, including director of staff development at the Office of the Attorney General in 1997 and director of training and chair of the Journey to Excellence Quality Program at the General Services Commission from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, Dr. Hackett contributed her expertise as a trainer at the Governor's Center for Management Development from 1996 to 1997

Outside of her primary endeavors, Dr. Hackett also availed herself to students as an adjunct professor in the business management department at Huston-Tillotson University from 2003 to 2006. On a personal level, she has been actively involved with Caritas and Great Hills Baptist Church and is a member of Phi Kappa Alpha. She has been recognized for her achievements with recognitions like National Woman of Achievement by the State of Texas Black Heritage Committee. Dr. Hackett is also an accomplished author, having published "Island Puzzler on the Virgin Island" in 1988.

Dr. Hackett's academic background has been instrumental in her professional success. She earned a Doctor of Education from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001, a master's degree in management and human resources from the University of Central Texas in 1984, a bachelor's degree in human resource management from the same university in 1983, and an associate degree in business administration and management from Central Texas College in 1982. Her relentless drive to assist and guide individuals toward success has been a driving force throughout her career. This dedication stems from her early experiences as a trader for the state of Texas and later as an executive project manager for Lockheed.

Among her most dearly held achievements, Dr. Hackett is particularly proud to have made significant contributions to the career development of individuals in corporate settings. The gratitude she has received from students over the years has only reinforced her belief that facilitating the success of others is the most rewarding aspect of her work. She is grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and to contribute to their long-term prosperity. In addition to her professional endeavors and community involvement, Dr. Hackett is a devoted mother to four children. She has set ambitious goals for herself, including expanding her work globally within the next few years with a focus on assisting individuals in need in the Caribbean islands as a first step towards achieving worldwide impact.
