Ms. Hamann is a distinguished professional with over 35 years of experience in her field, currently serving as the senior regulatory compliance manager at Moog Inc., a global manufacturer of aerospace components and systems. Bearing a wealth of expertise in communications, problem-solving and process improvement, she focuses on compliance management for military contracts, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements such as small business plans, FAR and DFAR flowdown and pricing. Additionally, Ms. Hamann oversees Contract management and addresses various business aspects, from shipping and pricing to proposal efforts and customer requirements.

Initially working at Moog in the assembly and testing area in 1986, Ms. Hamann went on to become a senior quality engineer, after which she served as a manager of contract administration. During this time, she enjoyed engaging with various functions within the company, from the chief executive officer down to shipping personnel. She was later selected to lead configuration management for a significant project, the F-35 fighter jet program. This role entailed managing the configuration process for all drawings and hardware in collaboration with a partner company. After this project, she returned to contract administration as a manager overseeing the original equipment manufacturer side of the business.

When Ms. Hamann was first hired, the company was much smaller and operated mainly through word of mouth without well-documented processes. Over the years, however, the company grew significantly, and she realized the importance of documenting procedures. She takes great pride in establishing the structure for the contracts group and is presently focused on process mapping and work instructions to ensure the team receives the necessary training and information to meet requirements. Her greatest accomplishment in each role has been the successful documentation of procedures and obtaining buy-in from the team to follow them.

Ms. Hamann attributes her success to the supportive culture at Moog, which fosters an open, inviting and encouraging atmosphere that has empowered her to fearlessly pursue advancement. She has always felt comfortable seeking guidance, asking questions and challenging existing processes. Her environment and strong work ethic have been pivotal in her success.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Hamann is a dedicated mother and grandmother, and enjoys camping in her spare time.
