Mr. Taber is a distinguished partner at Leech Tishman Fuscaldo and Lampl, where he has made significant contributions since 2018. Based in Pittsburgh, his full-service law firm provides nationwide counsel for various legal matters. Representing the Los Angeles office, Mr. Taber focuses his practice on environmental law, aviation and airport development law matters, corporate legal issues, complex litigation, and intellectual property law. Before ascending to his current position, Mr. Taber served as a counsel for the firm from 2017 to 2018, demonstrating his legal acumen and dedication to client success.

Leveraging over 35 years of professional success, Mr. Taber's career began at Carlton Fields PA, where he was an associate from 1986 to 1988 and quickly established a foundation for his future endeavors in law. He then joined Burditt Bowles and Radzius as an associate until 1989 before becoming a partner at Ross and Hardies, a position he held until 1998. Mr. Taber's commitment to justice led him to serve as an assistant attorney general with the Illinois Attorney General's Office from 1998 to 2000. Following this role, he expanded his focus on aviation law as an attorney and advisor for the Federal Aviation Administration for two years before being named a senior litigation counsel at Ameriquest Mortgage Company between 2005 and 2007. Mr. Taber then became a member of Chevalier, Allen and Lichman until 2010, focusing on litigation, primarily regarding environmental and aviation matters with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Federal Aviation Administration. Additionally, he found success as the owner and sole attorney of Taber Law Group PC, where he led his practice from 2010 to 2017.

Mr. Taber's commitment to justice and legal excellence is evident in his involvement in several high-profile cases. Early in his career, his work on a capital punishment case led to a new trial for two brothers wrongfully accused of murder. He also played a pivotal role in the U.S. v. Petersen Sand and Gravel Inc. case, a landmark case concerning contamination at a site near Libertyville, Illinois.

Besides his primary career obligations, Mr. Taber has been dedicated to environmental advocacy. He has served as an advisory board member for Oceanic Defense since 2010 and in various capacities in his roles with Altadena Wild and Quiet Communities Inc.

In preparation for his career, Mr. Taber earned a Bachelor of Arts in political philosophy from Michigan State University in 1981. Subsequently, he received a Master of Arts in political science and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Michigan in 1986.

Mr. Taber's professional affiliations include memberships in the American Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association. These memberships reflect his broad interests within the legal field and his commitment to staying abreast of developments in aviation law and beyond.

In addition to his legal affiliations, Mr. Taber is actively involved in various civic organizations that reflect his commitment to community service. He has been a board member for Design Thinking at the University of California Riverside Extension Professional Studies since 2020, is active in his church, and does pro bono work for several legal organizations. Earlier, Mr. Taber volunteered in the Peace Corps from 1981 to 1983.

In recognition of his professional excellence and community service, Pasadena Magazine named Mr. Taber one of the Top Attorneys in 2022.
