JONESBORO, AR, February 04, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Jean Langford with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Jean Langford celebrates many years' experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

An expert in her field, Ms. Langford earned a Bachelor of Science in education before becoming a high school teacher. Subsequently, she completed a Master of Arts at Arkansas State University and a JD at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Over the years, she gained valuable expertise as a law clerk for Chief Judge Melvin Mayfield of the Arkansas Court of Appeals and Circuit Judge Perry Whitmore of Pulaski County, Arkansas. Likewise, Ms. Langford worked as chief counsel with the Arkansas Insurance Department for nearly two and a half decades.

Before her retirement in 2010, Ms. Langford honed her legal knowledge as an attorney for Troop A of the Department of Arkansas State Police. In this capacity, she drafted and implemented the agency's rules and regulations and worked at the state capital in Little Rock to help pass legislation that impacted the department's operations and funding. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Langford aligned herself with several industry organizations, including the Arkansas Bar Association and the Pulaski County Bar Association.

In conjunction with her work, Ms. Langford contributes to the field as a fellow with the Arkansas Bar Foundation. While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in achieving her goals with the state government, serving taxpayers, attending law school, and being recommended for membership as a fellow in the Arkansas Bar Foundation. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far in her career, she credits her success to working with senior attorneys, including Cora Gentry, an amazing friend of hers. In the coming years, Ms. Langford intends to volunteer at her church and donate her time to people at the local library.
