WASHINGTON, February 05, 2025 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Vishrut Shelat, Esq., has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Shelat, an accomplished attorney and entrepreneur, has made significant strides in the legal field and beyond. As the chief operating officer and co-founder of Ambassador To The World, a nonprofit organization based in Aldie, Virginia, he empowers individuals to represent their cultures and unite people through shared values. The organization also seeks to raise awareness and educate others about the diverse cultures around the world.

In addition to his role at Ambassador To The World, Mr. Shelat is the founder and senior partner of TheBajLawGroup PLLC. Since 2023, he has provided expert legal services in immigration law, business law and criminal defense. Prior to establishing his firm, he worked as a freelance attorney from 2022 to 2023, where he honed his skills in various legal disciplines.

Mr. Shelat began his career with positions that laid a strong foundation for his future endeavors. In 2022, he served as a litigation review attorney at Robert Half Inc. and as an artificial intelligence litigation analyst at Wolters Kluwer. His earlier experience includes working as a legal research analyst at Thomson Reuters in 2021 and as a law clerk in the trial division of the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia during an internship in 2020.

Laying the groundwork for Mr. Shelat's successful career was his impressive academic background. He earned a Bachelor of Science in information systems and operations management from George Mason University in 2016, followed by a Juris Doctor in energy law, cyber law, litigation, trial and appellate from Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2020. His certifications include being an attorney at law by the District of Columbia Committee on Admissions (2021), an advanced VITA/TCE tax preparation certification from the Internal Revenue Service (2019) and an SSCP cyber security course completion certification from Northern Virginia Community College (2016). Additionally, he is admitted to practice law before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Throughout his career, Mr. Shelat has been recognized for his dedication and contributions to the legal profession and beyond. He received a certificate of appreciation from Horizon International Consulting and Strategic Study in 2024 and the George Award for various contributions to diplomacy, international law and pro bono work through Ambassador To The World in 2024. His earlier accolades include the NCLC 103 Science Fair Award from George Mason University's New Century College in 2012 and a certificate of outstanding achievement from Horizon International Consulting and Strategic Study.

Mr. Shelat's commitment to civic engagement is evident through his volunteer work with Inova Physical Therapy Center and the Public Defender Service. He has also contributed to academic literature as the author of "Farmland Solar Policy Design Toolkit," published by the Energy Clinic at Vermont Law and Graduate School in 2020.

Mr. Shelat attributes his success to his transparency, honesty and commitment to the truth--values instilled by his father, an early tech entrepreneur who founded a computer company. Guided by these principles, he continues to inspire others through his work ethic, drive for excellence, willingness to learn and self-confidence. His most notable achievement was preventing the deportation of a 14-year-old girl accused of theft who could not speak English. He represented and assisted her during the deportation hearing, which ultimately resulted in no charges.

Looking ahead, Mr. Shelat plans to expand Ambassador To The World to different states and internationally while assembling a team of experts from various cultures to increase the organization's impact. Additionally, he is working on establishing a legal nonprofit in partnership with TheBajLawGroup to create an equitable legal education academy and provide training for paralegals who wish to pursue a career without incurring debt.
