Ms. Nayibova is a senior associate attorney and litigator at Lee Smart PS Inc. in Seattle, where she has established herself as an expert in construction defects and dental malpractice. In her current role since 2023, she conducts and defends depositions, attends mediations, drafts motions and holds conferences regarding discovery and other issues. Additionally, Ms. Nayibova manages the firm's social media presence and employee engagement.
Before joining her firm, Ms. Nayibova was a claims counsel at AmTrust Financial in Melville, New York, from 2020 to 2023. During this period, she honed her skills in managing complex claims and legal disputes. Between 2019 and 2020, she was an associate attorney at Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP in Garden City, New York, where she also focused on developing her litigation expertise. Ms. Nayibova's earlier experience included a tenure as an associate attorney at McDonnell and Adels PLLC in Garden City from 2017 to 2018.
Ms. Nayibova's legal career began with a law clerk position at Frank and Associates PC from 2016 to 2017. Ms. Nayibova holds a Bachelor of Arts in global studies from the University of Washington and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. Her academic excellence was evident through her recognition as a legal ethics fellow and recipient of the ethics scholarship grant.
Throughout her career, Ms. Nayibova has been actively involved in industry-related organizations, such as the American Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association. In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. Nayibova has contributed to civic-minded organizations. She served as an English language teacher assistant at Shoreline Community College from 2011 to 2012 and volunteered with the Court Appointed Special Advocate program. She has also contributed to legal scholarship as a writer on the Seattle Minimum Wage Law in 2015.
One of Ms. Nayibova's most notable accomplishments was demonstrated when she successfully presented an appellate argument during her second year of practice in New York, an achievement she attributes to the guidance of her visual writing professor.
