Ms. Zellner is a distinguished civil rights and medical malpractice litigator and post-conviction attorney, serving as president of Kathleen T. Zellner and Associates P.C. since 1990. With over 30 years of experience in her profession, she has established herself as an expert in these niches, along with wrongful conviction cases. She is renowned for securing more exonerations than any other private attorney in America for individuals who have been wrongly convicted, successfully obtaining the release of 23 people facing life or death penalty convictions.

In addition to saving the lives of the wrongfully convicted, Ms. Zellner is very proud of winning five multimillion-dollar verdicts within eleven months. Her appearance on season 2 of the "Making a Murderer" series in 2018 is another proud accomplishment, as it further cemented her reputation and resulted in over 700,000 followers on X (formerly Twitter).
